This page is a draft. It describes our current practice in plain terms and has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel.
What we collect
When you order through a QR code we record the items you order, the table you sit at, and the amount you pay. If you create an account we also store your name, email address and phone number. Guests who order without an account are asked only for a name and a phone number, so the restaurant can bring the order to the right table.
Why we collect it
To pass your order to the restaurant kitchen, to take payment, to send you the status of your order, and to show you your own order history. Restaurants see the orders placed at their own venue and nothing else.
Payment details
Card numbers are never sent to or stored on our servers. Payments are handled by the restaurant’s own payment provider (Stripe, Network International or PayPal), and we keep only the result and the last four digits shown on your receipt.
Marketing email
If a restaurant sends you a promotional email, every message carries an unsubscribe link. Following it stops marketing email immediately; transactional messages such as order receipts continue.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Write to the contact address in the site footer and we will respond.
